ABOUT SWIMMING at CRENSHAWS

Crenshaw Athletic Club houses a wonderful indoor heated pool for year-round swimming lessons.   The pool was specifically designed with a large shallow area which is great for teaching beginners while maintaining a 5 foot lap area for those children who are more proficient.  Don't let your children lose their swimming skills during the winter!   Keep up this important life sport throughout the year.

Skill Levels
Beginner 1:            First exposure to water - May be apprehensive.
Beginner 2:            Will put face under water - not hesitant.
Novice:                 Swims a little - not apprehensive of swimming in the deep end.
Intermediate:        At ease in deep water - had instruction in several strokes.
Advanced:             Strong swimmer in several stroke - lap swimmer.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

bullet Fall/Spring Registration requires a $50 Deposit (absolutely non-refundable)
bullet Summer Registration requires full payment (Absolutely non-refundable)
bullet If there is a balance, it is due first day of class. A late fee is charged after a 30 day grace period.
bullet There is a $20 per year annual fee assessed each fall. This fee is prorated during the Spring. ($15) (Fall and Spring only)
bullet Crenshaws offers a $25 discount for those who are also registered in Gymnastics.
bullet Crenshaws will be closed Labor Day Weekend (September 5-7) and the Thanksgiving holidays.
bullet In the spring, Crenshaws will be closed Spring Break & Good Friday through Easter. (Spring Break is not counted in the total number of weeks.)
