Registration for Summer 2011 Camps begins March 1.

Term 1 (3 weeks)  June 6 - June 24

Term 2 (3 weeks)  June 27 - July 15

Term 3 (3 weeks ) July 18 - August 5

Term 4 (2 weeks ) August 8 - August 19

Summer 2011 – Camp Registration Procedure

Because of the high demand, camp registration will be BY MAIL ONLY starting March 1. DO NOT MAIL ANY EARLIER THAN MARCH 1. (ie, Postmarked March 1 or later.) Beginning on Thursday, March 3, we will accept walk-in or mail-in registration for any remaining 2011 camp slots.

Initially,  Summer Camp registration will be by mail only beginning March 1.

1)      Completely fill out the application.   Make sure you check the correct term and date.

 

2)      Insert the application and a deposit check for $100 per child per term in a regular sized envelope with the following address:  Crenshaw Athletic Club - 2011 Summer Camp Registration, 5000 Fairview Drive,  Austin, Texas 78731

 

3)      DO NOT MAIL ANY EARLIER THAN MARCH 1. If your application is post- marked prior to March 1, it will be held until March 3 for processing.

 

4)      Stamped, First Class Mail ONLY.  NO METERED MAIL or SPECIAL DELIVERY.

 

5)      Camp applications will be processed in the order they arrive in the mail.  As in the past, we will need to balance the camps with an equal number of boys and girls. 

 

6)      Crenshaws will begin notifying everyone after March 15 as to whether or not their application was accepted. Please wait to be contacted.

 

7)      Beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 3 we will accept walk-in registration for any remaining openings in our Summer Camp Programs.

 

8)      The balance of your child’s tuition will be due in full 15 days prior to the start date.  You will get a reminder in the mail about 30 days prior to camp. Failure to pay your balance on time will mean the forfeiture of your child’s place in camp.

 

9)      We use our waiting list a great deal during the summer. Anyone who does not get into camp will have the opportunity to pay $25 to be on our waiting list.  The $25 will be applied to the tuition should your child get into camp. Also, you can use it for credit anytime within a year.

 

10)  If your child is accepted into our summer camp, your deposit is completely NON- REFUNDABLE AND NON -TRANSFERABLE.

11)  If your child does not get into one of our summer camps, any deposit will be returned in full.

12)  Should Independence Day (July 4) fall on a weekday, Crenshaws will be closed.

What makes the All Day Camp such a bargain is that EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED. Extended hours, swimming instruction, gymnastics lessons and field trips are part of the package.  The Crenshaw All Day Summer Camp is geared towards younger school-aged children (5-7 years). The activities include arts/crafts, gym, inside/outside games, computer, field trips, swimming lessons and free swim. As in all of our programs, our staff is selected with experience and a caring attitude. The hours for this program are 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. The camp is divided into 3 - three-week terms and 1 - two week term. With very limited enrollment, the camp generally fills several months prior to summer. Call today for more information!
